The 2016 SEMA Show was full of impressive designs, sporty powertrains, and much more. Mopar played their part perfectly by bringing six concepts that stunned and inspired drivers who attended the show. The latest concept models continue the brand’s trend of bringing performance-driven vehicle to the show floor.

Mopar revealed six concepts over the course of the 2016 SEMA Show, the most impressive of which was a retro Dodge Challenger. Officially called the Dodge Shakedown Challenger, the old-school muscle car joined forces with modern technologies to create the ultimate beast. The concept is based off the 1971 Challenger plus several Mopar parts, like a Shaker hood kit.

The Dodge Durango Shaker concept is said to preview the Durango SRT. The SUV boasted a blue paintjob and a custom Shaker hood. Both the Challenger and Durango packed a 6.4-liter V8 engine under the hood.

Drivers interested in off-roading could find their home with the Ram Macho Power and the concept RamRack storage system. The Jeep CJ66 combined parts from several different Wrangler models as well as several available Mopar parts.

High-tech minivans aren’t the norm but the Chrysler Pacifica Cadence breaks the mold.  The concept model featured custom graphics, 20-inch wheels, and Mopar running boards.

The sixth and final concept comes in the form of the Ram ProMaster Pit Stop. That utility van concept boasted a drop-down bar counter, refrigeration capabilities, and more.

We here at Blackburn CDJR can’t wait to see what SEMA Show options come to future production vehicles!
